Amirabdollahian made the remarks in a meeting with Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah in Beirut on Friday.
The top diplomat assessed the recent negotiations between the Islamic Republic and Saudi Arabia as constructive.
He stated that the implementation of existing agreements will serve as a yardstick of both sides’ approaches in this new chapter of Tehran-Riyadh relations.
During their meeting, the two officials also reviewed the latest developments in Lebanon and exchanged views on the situations in Palestine and Syria.
Nasrallah expressed his belief that resistance forces in Lebanon and Palestine are currently at their strongest.
He warned that any miscalculations by Zionists would result in a regrettable reaction from the resistance.
Nasrallah also thanked Iran for its constructive role in the region and praised the late Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani for his "unforgettable" contributions to regional security against terrorism and the Israeli regime.
